South Africa has many desperate job seekers that don't know how to market themselves. On the other hand we have people keen to employ but not sure how to find the right people. WorkNow! is a non profit organization, funded by the Department of Social Development, which acts as the intermediary for both groups. We help low to medium skilled workers find employment via offices in Hout Bay, Retreat and Fish Hoek.
Work seekers are interviewed, references are checked, ID books are kept on file and a short CV is created for each person. We focus on this personal interaction to match the needs of the employer and employee. We get feedback on each of our employees enabling us to build up a track record and ensure that our candidates have the relevant skills, experience and reliability.
Our services are free to employers and employees. No fees, no commissions and no exploitation.

Need help at home, at the office or on site? Whatever job you need done, whether it is one day or one year, please give your nearest office a call or phone 0861 WORKNOW and we will help you find a suitable employee. You can brief us on your requirements and we will use our knowledge of the local labour force to find suitable candidates.

Looking for work? If you are South African resident or have a work permit and live in one of the areas we service, please come to our offices and tell us about your skills and history. We will help you build up your CV and market you to prospective employers.

Terms & Conditions of Employment
Employment relationships are subject to widespread statutory regulation in South Africa. Employers must be aware of issues such as minimum rates of pay, employee leave entitlements, statutory deductions from renumeration and prescribed procedures for ending an employment relationship.
To assist employers to navigate these regulations, WorkNow! is fortunate to have a labour lawyer as part of our advisory team to assist with labour law advice. If you have a query, please click here to send us a message.
This service is only available to our registered employers.

Work gives people the chance to regain self esteem and be proud of their contribution. We all need to find more creative ways of employing people and to think twice before we paint the room ourselves or wash our cars on Sunday. Employing someone else for a day could be the only income they earn for a while.
