Your
responsibilities as an employee:
As a member of our team, when you are offered work, please take careful
note of your responsibilities:
1. Please arrive on the day requested,
on time at the address specified. If you are unsure where to go, we
have a map in the office and can give you clear directions.
2. Please ensure you are neat and presentable
and have a suitable overall if necessary, especially for work such as
painting or building.
3. If you cannot make work on that day, please
call the office in good time on 790 1539 or Denise on 076 265
3855, so we can find a replacement.
4. We have asked your employer, where possible,
to provide something to eat and drink, but this may not always be
available.
5. You will be expected to work 8 hours
maximum (full day) and 4 hours maximum (half day). You are entitled
to a short morning break (15 mins) and afternoon break (15 mins) with
half an hour over lunch. If your work hours are exceeded please let us
know.
6. The employer will pay you on the day of work
(or if over a few days, at the end of the time you have worked) in cash
or with a cash cheque. There is no commission payable to us – you may
keep all the money given to you by the employer. If you have any
problems in receiving your money, please call us.
7. Any further bookings must be made through the
office. If your employer asks you to come in for work, please remind
them they must let the office know, so we can keep a track of the days
you have worked.
8. We will try our best to sort out any problems
you may have or ensure they do not happen again. We cannot, however, be
held responsible for any issues between you and the employer, as we are
merely an agent of work.
